St. Patrick's Day

I was invited to hear Bill vanL's band, Tanglemere, in Cadillac (about 40 min. north of Big Rapids) where they were playing at McGuires resort (kind of a golf hotel, by the looks of it). A very relaxed bar with friendly folks enjoying the music and some step dancing. That's Bill playing octave mandolin, and Shelley on flute. The fiddler, Bob, is hidden behind the speaker on the right... Sue (Bill's sister, if i heard right) is on keyboards, and Dan plays percussion... and is also capable of dancing and playing bones at the same time. Talented guy!
Tanglemere played a mix of Irish, Old Time, folk songs, a few covers and some originals (I think)... and despite some problems with the sound system, did a fine job. I had a great time, felt very welcome and happy.
