Sunburst day started with a really beautiful dawn... all pinks and oranges coming up and casting reddish light on the farms and the tips of the winter trees. Lovely.
Here I am painting my electric guitar with a sunburst... using a spray gun (not too different from an air brush in some ways).
After doing this, we took turns touching up the sunbursts and then spraying 6 more coats of clear lacquer topcoats.
In between, as we were waiting for our turn in the spray booth, practice making nuts and saddles...
