Fretboard dots

When I made an octave mandolin before, it surprised me how many people I showed it to asked about how you get the dots on the fretboard. Well, here's how we're doing it this time.
Mark the center of the frets where you're putting the dots... drill a cavity the right size... put a drop of superglue in the cavity and put the end of an aluminum dowel into the cavity. Spray with glue accelerator (hardens it almost instantly). Then clip off the excess and file it flat.
Presto! Dots!
