hi otter! i sure love that one guitar strap, the blue-ish one toward the left. It indeed has been enjoyable to read your progress and I am especially interested in the acoustic. Can't wait to see the headstock veneer and inlay. It's been interesting also to see the various jigs y'all have been using. Bolting necks on guitars is nearly standard these days, and I was happy to see you using a mortise and tenon, as many builders are just "face bolting".
Anyway, keep up the good work!

and re: jigs-- you've only seen SOME of the jigs... this place is jig central. If there's a way to standardize something and/or make it more fool-proof (e.g. student-proof) or safer, they've made a jig for it here.
At times, I wish they'd cover a bit more about how to do things without all this big equipment and a million jigs. But to be fair, they do talk about how to make the jigs, and encourage us to start thinking that way.
